Africa Needs Builders, Not Spectators

We do not have a shortage of ideas. Sit in any co-working space from Lagos to Nairobi and you will hear a dozen billion-dollar pitches before lunch. What we have a shortage of is finished things.
Ideas are cheap
An idea is a hypothesis. It is worth almost nothing until it collides with a real user and survives.
- Write the smallest version.
- Put it in front of someone who is not your friend.
- Watch what they actually do.
- Repeat.
The builder’s advantage
The builder wins by default, because almost nobody else finishes. The bar is not genius. The bar is persistence past the point where it stops being fun.
That is the whole secret. That is the entire game.
